Re-absorbable haemostatic gelatin
Cutanplast® is a sterile re-absorbable gelatin sponge with a powerful haemostatic effect. The porous surface of the gelatin induces the rapid rupture of the blood plaques with the consequent activation of the enzymatic cascade, which leads to natural coagulation. Each gram is individually packed in sterile plastic box which is packed in boxes of 6 units.
Areas of use:
Orthopedic Surgeries
- For surgical operations, it can be easily and shaped to spread over the surgical site, and can be compressed to maximize connection to cracks and irregular bone surfaces, as well as to prevent venous and cancellous bone leaks.
